As one of the smaller Channel Islands, Alderney sits in peaceful tranquillity, set far to the north of its neighbours. It is well-known for its stunning beaches, remote headlands and charming island feel.
The Guernsey parish of Castel is one of the least built-up on the island, harbouring some of the most extensive swathes of countryside. Amongst its rolling fields, a number of charming villages can be found.
On the eastern coast of the Isle of Man, a short distance from the capital, Douglas, there is a small area of land known as Ballanette Country Park. The park lies within the grounds of Ballanette Estate.
